I believe you chose very good issues to write about but the issue that was most prominent to me was the issue of the homeless population growth in West Palm Beach.
ReplyDeleteThe article speaks of the growth in population and the harrassment the homeless are creating to other residents. For someone to attempt to steal a dog, regardless of their housing state, is just wrong. I believe more needs to be down to help the less fortunate. Encourage good behavior by doing more to involve them in the community. If they feel that they are outcast, they will be treated as such. When they are spoken to, encouraged, and helped out, I believe that they would be less likely to cause problems. If the city installed showers in a park, maybe this would discourage people from bathing in fountains. Homeless people are people and should be treated as such. Different paths and decisions got them to this position but that doesn't mean that they must stay there. There is a true opportunity to clean up the city by loving and caring for all the residents.
